The 21st-Century Engineer

This article recognized the need for Engineers and Construction Managers to take control of their careers by continuing their education in order to prepare for tomorrow.
In a recent publication "The 21st-Century Engineer" Patricia Galloway presents a proposal for engineering education reform. This groudbreaking manifesto points out areas where we must become proficient: globalization, communication, ethics and professionalism, diversity, and leadership.
CMAA has updated their mission statement "to promote and enhance leadership, professionalism, and excellence in managing the development and construction of projects and programs."
All of us must better prepare for tomorrow by continuing our education by reading and exploring the proposal for the 21st-Century Engineer.
