File size was no longer a problem with 650 MB of storage space Elton and Larry could now include all of their favorite materials on a single disk. The Corps of Engineers was rapidly aging - most District's were adding up the average age of employees and finding the entire workforce was soon eligible to retire. Our Chief of Engineers set the goal for the Corps to become a Learning Organization with knowledge. Knowledge must be continually updated and passed onto fellow employees. Elton and Larry coined themselves dinosaurs who just wanted to help the learning process. The Disk of Knowledge is a collection of files, spreadsheets, tips and tricks related to Construction Contract Administration. Version 3.0 took on a new look - web based format with files organized into a Table of Contents and Tables of Hyperlinks for easy access and reference.
